Our physiotherapy sessions are covered by private health insurance (so long as you have physiotherapy coverage). The amount of coverage is dependent on your insurer and level of coverage. We use the following item codes:

500 - Initial Consultation

505 - Subsequent Consultation

At your appointment, you will be required to pay the full amount for the session. You will then be issued a receipt for you to submit to your insurer. Your insurer will then pay you directly.

Medicare subsidies are only available to eligible patients under an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) / GP Management Plan (GPMP). Your GP will need to assess your eligibility and provide you with a care plan before you are able to claim under Medicare.

To be eligible for an EPC or GPMP, a patient must have a chronic or terminal medical condition with or without complex care needs. A chronic health condition is defined as one that has been present for 6 months or more. It includes, but is not limited to, asthma, cancer, cardiovascular illness, diabetes mellitus, musculoskeletal conditions and stroke.

At your appointment, you will be required to pay the full amount for the session. You will then be issued a receipt for you submit to Medicare. Medicare will then pay you directly.

If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24-48 hours notice.

Our Policy: Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours prior to your appointment time will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the reserved services.
