Healthy lifestyle programs for female school students
We provide women’s health education programs to female school students about menstrual health, pelvic health and body positivity
Why is menstrual health education so important?
92% of female students experience pain
25% of absenteeism is due to menstrual related symptoms
50% of students have missed classes due to period pain
77% of students report difficulty with concentration during their period
Imagine how much more time your female students could spend learning and excelling if they were given the information they needed to better understand and manage their symptoms!

Our presenters are highly experienced women's health physiotherapists who are currently practicing in their field. Each week they help women and girls manage and overcome a range of health concerns that arise throughout the female life span - from menstrual symptoms, to pelvic floor concerns, to exercise performance and everything in between.

Mode of Delivery
-
We have written a bespoke syllabus aimed at students from years 5 through to year 12.
Our staged learning outcomes ensure all female students are equipped with age appropriate knowledge about the physiological changes and unique systems that occur in their bodies. It is written as a compliment and addition to the PDHPE syllabus.
Our syllabus consists of 4 stages:
stage 1: year 5-6
stage 2: year 7-8
stage 3: year 9-10
stage 4: year 11-12
Each stage is delivered over 6 hours. We recommend 4 x 1.5 hour sessions, but can tailor this based on your schools timetable.
If you would like a more detailed breakdown of our syllabus, please enquire below.
-
We offer keynote seminars for schools that do not have the resources or time required to run our full syllabus.
These seminars are focussed around a particular topic, which may include:
The basics of menstrual health
Endometriosis
Body Positivity
The female athlete (working with your unique physiology)
The running time of these seminars can be tailored to the needs of your school.
-
All of our sessions can easily be delivered virtually when required.
Sessions can be delivered via Zoom or Teams, and any additional workbooks / materials will be sent to the school in the lead up.
