This session focuses on understanding your body during pregnancy and how to move safely and confidently.

We will cover:

  • The role of the pelvic floor during pregnancy

  • Safe exercise in pregnancy – what’s recommended and what to modify

  • Common musculoskeletal conditions in pregnancy (such as back, pelvic and hip pain)

  • Practical strategies for managing aches, pains and discomfort

This session is ideal if you want evidence-based guidance on staying active, reducing pain, and supporting your body throughout pregnancy.

Preparing for Birth: Vaginal & Caesarean Delivery

7pm, 25 February 2026

This session is divided into two parts, covering preparation for both vaginal birth and caesarean delivery.

First half (30 minutes): Preparing for a Vaginal Delivery

  • How to prepare your body for labour and birth

  • Pelvic floor considerations

  • Strategies to support an optimal vaginal delivery

Second half (30 minutes): Preparing for a Caesarean Delivery

  • Preparing physically for a planned caesarean

  • What to expect from a caesarean birth

  • Early recovery considerations

How to attend:

  • If you are planning a vaginal delivery, we recommend joining from the start. You may also wish to stay for the caesarean section, as this can be helpful in the event of an unplanned caesarean.

  • If you are planning a caesarean delivery, you are welcome to join from the beginning or join halfway through for the caesarean-specific content.

These sessions are designed to be informative, practical, and supportive—giving you the knowledge and confidence to navigate pregnancy and birth with clarity.
